Since our foundation in 1998 at Dieselstraße in Osnabrück-Atter, PDL-Logistik has developed into a leading company in the logistics industry. The roots of the company lie in the distribution of packaging materials for the food industry. However, due to expansions and additions to our range of services, we have grown steadily and in 2002 we moved our company headquarters to Hansaring in Lotte.
To meet the increasing demands, we have continuously invested in our infrastructure. In 2014, we reached the maximum storage capacity at our location in Lotte, which was followed by the opening of another warehouse in Wallenhorst. At the beginning of 2017, we moved into an additional logistics hall with an area of 4000 m² directly opposite our location on Hansaring in Lotte. This expansion enables us to offer our customers first-class services and meet their individual requirements.
Our services
As a logistics service provider, our company specialises in packaging and dry food logistics. Our comprehensive range of services includes

At our locations in Lotte, we operate system-managed warehousing on an area of approx. 7000 m² and a capacity of around 7500 pallet spaces in various compartment heights. Our warehouse concept guarantees our customers efficient and secure storage of their products.
At PDL Logistics, we place great emphasis on sustainability and environmental awareness. We are continuously working to minimise our ecological footprint. We have converted to energy-efficient LED lighting at all our locations and replaced older diesel forklifts with modern electric forklifts. By using intelligent scanners and screen technology, we can work paperless in many areas. Furthermore, we use suitable interfaces to be able to receive and send logistics data by remote transmission.
Our top priority is the quality of our services. For this reason, all our employees take part in regular training courses. These familiarise them with the warehouse processes and ensure that all hygiene standards are met.
As an additional service, we offer film processing in our company. Since 2005, PDL has had its own machinery for processing packaging films. This enables us to convert, cut and wrap films. While working according to general hygiene standards, we also take into account specific requirements of our customers and suppliers. Regular audits with our slitting and winding customers ensure that we maintain the highest quality standards.
Quality assurance and modernisation
In order to provide our customers with excellent service, we work predominantly according to the HACCP system and the IFS Logistics and FSSC 22000 standards. We have a modern fleet of vehicles which we can use to deliver to our customers ourselves within a radius of approx. 150 km. Our vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking and our drivers are regularly trained with regard to the statutory driving and rest times.
Outside the 150 km radius, we work with carefully selected transport companies that help us to guarantee our high quality standards. Furthermore, our fleet is constantly growing so that we can meet the increasing demands of our customers at all times. Regular modernisation ensures that our vehicles are always up to date in terms of road safety.

Thanks to our many years of experience in specialist logistics, we are able to check incoming orders for plausibility and practicability. Should any discrepancies arise, we contact our customers directly and develop solution proposals that guarantee you a smooth process.
